He was predeceased by: his father Julius Jacob Brittain. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Paul Brittain (Jacqueline Denise Bryant) and Xaiver Brittain; his grandchildren, Cory Jacob Brittain (Jessi Jonquil Carlin) and Serenity Lynn Carlin; his sister Pamela Jean Adams; and his sibling's children, Chad Fowler (Tiffney), Roman Fowler and Regan Fowler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at 1507 Main St. E, Valdese, NC 28690.
