She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Yoder and Medie Whitener Yoder; her husband Jack Max Austin; and her brother Bob Yoder. She is survived by: her children, Ken Austin (Sandy), Glenda A. Walter and Jackie Hilton (Scott); and her grandchildren, Stephen Austin (Melia), Heather Walter, Travis Walters (Meagan) and Tyler Walters (April). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1911 Zion Church Rd, Hickory, NC 28602). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
