He is survived by: his children, Mark Herman (Beth) of Hickory and Julie Flowers (Geoff Ping) of Winston Salem; his grandsons, Robert "Trae" Burney (Cruz) of Tustin, CA, Corey Burney (Kayte) of Winston Salem, NC, Cody Herman (Jaylen) of Waynesboro, VA and Zach Flowers (Jessica) of Hickory, NC; and his great grandchildren, Roland Burney, Lilana Burney and Amelia Flowers.
