He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew James and Eva Mae Metheney Sapp; and his wife Brenda Sapp. He is survived by: his children, Tina Pryor (Alfred) and Kevin Sapp; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sapp, Alexandria Huckelberry (Tyler), Austin Pryor (Haley) and Isaac Pryor (Tabitha); and his brother Bennie Sapp (Wanda). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springs of Catawba in Ray's name.
