He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Parker Queen. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Queen Ready (Joe); his stepchildren, Michael Hugh Frye (Vicky), Bobbie Frye Brown (John) and Kelli Frye Helton; his grandchildren, David Poovey (Sara), Bronson Brown, Dalton Brown (Morgan) and Alexander Larkin Bowers; and his great grandchildren, Connor Poovey and Adalyn Huete. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In his Senior years, before the Covid pandemic, Ralph enjoyed exercise and socializing with his buddies at the Hickory YMCA, meeting friends for coffee at the Viewmont McDonald's, and going to Harrah's Cherokee Casino.
