It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph Rader Kiziah of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Franklin and Flossie Rader Kiziah; his wife Betty Jean Poovey Kiziah; and his brothers, Harley Kiziah and Carroll Kiziah.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharyn Brady of Hickory and Denise Powell (Larry) of Hickory; his foster son John Mills (Janet) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Derek Brady of Holly Springs, Devin Brady of Vail, CO, Michele Pendry (Albert) of Hickory, Heather Powell of Hickory and Ivory Powell of Hickory; and his brother Curtis Kiziah of Hickory. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
