He was predeceased by: his parents, Robey Yale and Marion Deloris Smith Dye; and his brothers, Donald Ray Dye, Ronald Lewis Dye, Thomas "Tommy" Wayne Dye and John Glen Dye.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Clute, Joyce McCune (Daniel), Robey "Danny" Dye (Sheila) and Wilma Jean McGlothlin; and his siblings' children, Billy Ray Dye of Burke County, NC, Misty Lloyd of Spencer, Melissa Carpenter (James) of Maiden and Mori NicSidhe (Lou) of Warrensville, NC. He is also survived by 2 great nephews, 2 great nieces and 3 great-great nephews, a great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Catawba County in Randy's name.
