He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Conley Bumgarner and Tula Bumgarner; his daughter Carrie Rae Bumgarner; his brother Chad Bumgarner; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Bumgarner (Pete), Rayford Spencer and Patricia McCall.
He is survived by: his wife Georgie McCall Bumgarner; his son Phillip Bumgarner of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Andrew (Drew), Bret Bumgarner (Sydney) of Augusta, GA and Callie Bumgarner of Bethlehem, NC.; his sister Jean Spencer (Bumgarner); and his siblings-in-law, Willard McCall (Marie) and Jonnie McCall.
