He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Virginia Dare Weaver Phillips; his wife Rita Speagle Weaver; his son Jeffrey Ray Weaver; his siblings, James Franklin Weaver, Benny Weaver (Nora) of Conover, Cathy Stewart of Hickory and Susan P Setzer (Terrell) of Lincolnton Numerous; his cousin Long; and also Lynne.
