We bid farewell to Rebecca (Bolick) Gilley of Hickory, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Rebecca touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Bolick and Mattie Bumgarner Bolick; her brother James Bolick; and her niece Sundae. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Prestwood of Newton and Melanie Bates; her grandchildren, Nicole Johnson, Myrinda Bryant, Staci Bryant and Grant Stanley; her great grandchildren, Jospeh, Jasmine, Athena, Lilly, Madalyn and Camelia; her sister Linda Starnes of Lexington, NC; and her sibling's children, Jerri, Brian and Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
