It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca McMichael of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Orlando, Florida, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pelham Jackson McMichael (Jack) and Annie Lavelle Estes McMichael. She is survived by: her husband Juan Castillo-Hinojosa; her daughter Wendy Spring Sipes Creswell; her grandchildren, Joshua and Erin; and her siblings, Leila McMichael, Margaret McMichael Langley and Philip J. McMichael. She is also survived by extended family including cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Carolina Caring Hospice.
