He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Broadwell and Shirley Huffman Nelson; and his sister Debbie Broadwell. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Dawn Broadwell; his daughter Heather Collins (Brian); his grandchildren, Alaina and Liam; his sons, Matthew (Miranda), Ryan (Hannah) and Justin (Nani); his brothers, Carroll Huffman and Billy Broadwell; and his child Abuse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association and The National Foundation to End Child Abuse and Neglect in Richard's name.
