He was predeceased by: his father Donald Jethro Taylor; and his sister Joyce Elaine Leaird. He is survived by: his son Richard Douglas Taylor, Jr. (Tina); his grandchildren, Chase and Kennedy Anne; his son Brad Anthony Taylor (Jackie); his grandchildren, Anna-Marie, Dawson Grace and Mary Louise; his daughter Ashley Brooke Taylor (Tymer Tilton); and also Thelma Louise Stafford Taylor.
