He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Flachbart and Edna Landau Flachbart; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Conway Flachbart (Pat); his children, Richard (Rick) and Laura Flachbart of Connecticut; his stepchildren, Carrie Hicks (Missouri), Jeffrey (Holly), Tonella (California) and Lauren (Travis Runyan); his grandchildren, Jacqueline Amorando, Alexandra Flachbart (Lulu), Morgan Cupps (Justin), Kennedy, Lincoln Hicks and Grant Runyan; and his great grandchild James Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and countless loving friends.
