It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lee Robbins of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Vernon Robbins and Evelyn Thorneburg Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Clara Roberts Robbins; his children, Todd Lee Robbins (Chelsea) of Claremont and Lorie Robbins Houston (Andy Houston) of Hickory; his siblings, Ray Robbins of Holly Springs, Dennis Ward (Sheila) of Hickory, Alice Honeycutt of Indian Trail, Patricia Houston (Marshall "Butch" Houston) of Conover, Vicky Carroll of Conover and Martha Ann Elder (Dean) of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Collin Houston, Ivie Robbins, Jackson Robbins, Clark Houston, Jarrett Robbins, Audrina Prechel, Malachi Olmstead and Radford Robbins.

Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 526 Robbinswood Place, Hudson, NC 28638.
