It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bennington Washer (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Washer and Agnes Moorecroft Bennington Washer; his great grandchild Scott; his brother Robert Washer; and his daughter-in-law Cathie Rozjman Washer.
He is survived by: his wife Adrienne Washer; his children, Doug (Pam), Bruce and Carolyn Sinclair (Bob); and his grandchildren, Ian Washer, Carter Sinclair and Sloane Sinclair.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Hickory (237 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
