He is survived by: his children, Tonya Brockwell of Hickory, Robin Brockwell of Granite Falls, Tracy Carpenter (Brent) of Hickory, Samantha Brockwell of Charlotte, Barbara Hilton of Hickory, Christopher Brockwell of Asheville, Joseph Brockwell (Melody) of Asheville and Kevin Hensley of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Zackery, Lauren, Alexandria, Dylan and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Kash and Lacey; his brother Darrell Brockwell; and his daughter Lacie Messer.
