With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Columbus Caldwell of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas M. Caldwell and Minnie Ruth Kerr Caldwell; his sister Mary Caldwell Letts; and his nephew Thomas Wayne Caldwell. He is survived by: his significant other Sandy Caldwell; his sons, Josh McDowell (Chantae) and Robert Dusty Caldwell; and his siblings, Thomas M. Caldwell Jr. (Vicki) and Tammy Jean Caldwell Hollar. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
