He is survived by: his children, Karen Harris (Leroy) of Hickory, Joan Bolick of Hickory, Vickie Rogers (Wayne) of Hickory, Robert Propst, Jr. (Regina) of Granite Falls and Darrell Propst of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Kevin Harris, Christy Hoke, Sonya Bolick, Angie Short, Michael Roberts, Kim Empalmado, Jerry Rogers and Kali Hodge.
