He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hymer and Loretta Hymer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Moore Hymer; his daughter Shea Waldron (John); his grandchildren, Chase Waldron (Katelyn) and Taylor Waldron (Jesse); his goddaughter Kelli Wales (Shawn); and his siblings, Ken Hymer (Jeanette) and Florence Hymer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
