It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lee Long of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Long and Ruby Elmore Long; and his sister Sharon Long. He is survived by: his wife Susan B. Long; his children, Rodney Long (Leslie) of Bethlehem, Jonathan Long (Laura) of Hickory and Jennifer McClellan of Conover; his stepdaughters, Alicia Hubbard (Doug) of Bethlehem and Jennifer Hubbard of Hickory; his sister Trish Berry of Hickory; his nephew Lewis Berry of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Payton, Kayla, Sophie McClellan, Emma, Mason Long, Nathan Bostic, Marcus Hubbard and Trevor McCoy.
