Ronald Emmett Tyler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Emmett Tyler of Hickory, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Norman Tyler and Mary Jane Barnhill Tyler; his siblings, Mary Pearl Tyler Shelley, Gloria Joan Tyler Spear, Hoyt Elwood Tyler, Larry Ray Tyler and Michael Wendell Tyler; and his nephews, Greg Shelley, Mark Taylor, Tommy Russell, Doug Russell and Eddie Robinette.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Pat Tyler; his sons, Russell Shaun Tyler and Ryan Garrett Tyler (Kristin); and his granddaughters, Bailey Jo Tyler and Kinsley Ann Tyler.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Church of Hickory (410 26th Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
