She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillary Propes and Ollie Propes (Ralph Ritchie); her grandson Mark Ritchie; and her great grandchild Todd Ritchie. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Ritchie; her sons, David Ritchie (Mary) and Gary Ritchie (Linda); her granddaughters, Suzanne Ritchie, Teresa Sutton (Keith), Amber Rickertsen (Seth) and Pamela Splain (Brennan); and her great grandchildren, Eric Ritchie (Samantha), Trevor Sutton, Hunter Sutton, Zachary Peavy, Emily Peavy, Anson Splain and Ollie Splain.

Flowers may be sent to Bass-Smith funeral home in Hickory or memorials may be made to Trinity Village, 1265 21st St., NE, Hickory, NC 28601.
