She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mildred McDaniel Lackey and Floyd Bud Lackey; her brother Bobby Lackey; her husband Allen Lee Lane, Sr.; her children, Allen Lane, Jr. (Machelle) of Newton, Jason Lane of Hickory and Laura Kidd of Hickory; her grandchildren, Miranda Mullins (Justin) of Conover, James Lane (Chasity) of Catawba, Eric Lane (Madison Cooke) of Hickory, Sandra Ann Glazebrook (Dustin) of Hickory, Destinee, Dalton Lane, Graesyn Lane, Kayden Lane and Josiah Gibson; her great grandchildren, Stephanie Lane, Brooklyn Mullins, Shiera Lane, Mia Lane, Wyatt Lane and Noah Glazebrook; and her siblings, Beverly, Denise and Don of Hickory. She was also cherished by her family, especially her 5 grandchildren that lived with her and her husband.
