She is survived by: her daughter Julie Hoffman Shurts; her sister Julie Kanipe (Andy); her grandchildren, Nathan Shurts, Derek Shurts and Kaitlyn Hoffman; her sibling's children, Eric Kanipe, Sean Smith and Terri Bunn; and her friend Brenda Gantt.
