She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Allen Smith and Mary Catherine Smith; and her husband Carroll Dean Buff. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Holman (Buddy), Dean Buff and Nicole Hicks; her siblings, Darlene Story (Ronald), Diane Franklin, Terrie Swanson (Randy), Pam Murphy (Phil), Allen Smith and Byron Smith (Osha); her grandchildren, Tracy Lominac, Matthew Holman, Lisa Hoyle, Ashley Green, Joseph Hicks and Gemma Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Luke Conrad, Adrian Conrad, Jeremy Hoyle, Isaac Holman, Caleb Hoyle, Lincoln Holman and Sydney Lominac.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Startown First Baptist Church.
