“I 1st met her at Catawba Valley HS but got to know her better as a student when I taught her at HCAM. She was so smart & had such a bright smile. Her smile lit up every room she entered. In April she was helping someone who was doing work at my parent’s house. She recognized me in the pictures & began to tell my parents how special I was to her. I’m glad my mom FaceTimed me that day. I’m glad I got to see that beautiful smile once more. The news of her death has broken my heart. My condolences.”
