She is survived by: her children, Marlene Whitener (Bobby) and Douglas Shannon; her daughter-in-law Sherry Shannon; her sister Janette Beach; her grandsons, Brian Whitener (Sarah) and Justin Shannon (Salem); and her great grandchildren, Broderick and Harrison. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
