She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Donkel and Betty Houston Donkel. She is survived by: her husband Marcus L. Woodie (Marc); her children, Jessica Woodie Rutledge (Jay) of Wesley Chapel, N. C. and Brock Lawson Woodie (Jessica) of Hudson, N. C.; her brother Randy Donkel (Margie) of Raleigh, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Addie Rutledge, Jack Rutledge, Rylan Woodie, Amelia Scovern and Lawson Woodie (L. P.).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Lutheran Church (52 Pinewood Rd, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Philadelphia Lutheran Church Blessing Box Ministry, or to the Humane Society of Catawba County. Keep Susan's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
