Terri Lee (Abee) McClelland Obituary

We announce the death of Terri Lee (Abee) McClelland of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 67. Terri will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Terri will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Terri will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Terri’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones Abee and Margaret Davidson Abee; her siblings, Maragret Ann Moretz, David Hollar and Eddie Hollar; and her brother-in-law Brad McClelland.

She is survived by: her husband Casey McClelland; her daughters, Holly McClelland and Lacey McClelland; her brother Fred Hollar (Donna); and her siblings-in-law, Brian McClelland (Cathi) and Janice McClelland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hickory Funeral Home (1031 11th Ave Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602).
