She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chris Franklin of Newland, Ashley Hughes (Dustin) of Newland, Eden Hughes (Aaron) of Newland and Sierra Houston (Jeff) of Spruce Pine; her great grandchildren, Harlie, Hudson, Hendrix Franklin, Harper Hughes, Riley, Conner and Liana Houston; and her siblings, Franklin Buchanan (Alveda) of Newland and Joyce Catron of Vienna.
