He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Boyd King, Sr. and Emma Elizabeth Jones of South Hill, VA.; his stepfather George Walton Hardy; his sister Elizabeth Ann McLamb; and his son Alex Montgomery King.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Kyle King (Angie King) of Gastonia, N. C.; his granddaughter Kylie King of Gastonia, N. C.; and his sisters, Nancy Coleman (Holt) of New Bern, N. C. and Emma Taylor of Missouri. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
