She is survived by: her son Reiner Schmedes (Sheila) of Greensboro, NC.; her grandchildren, Clare, Nora and Anna; her son Rick Schmedes (Cristina) of Davidson, NC.; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Tabitha and Marcus; her daughter Heide Putt (Doug) of Nebo, NC.; her grandchildren, Gabriella and Nathaniel; Walter Gruner of St Pete Beach, Florida..
