It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valerie Riley of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Minton Rosenbaum and Pauline Cox Rosenbaum; and her brothers, Charles "Junior" Rosenbaum, David Roy Rosenbaum of James Donald, Ernest Lee Rosenbaum and Ronnie Rosenbaum.
She is survived by: her children, LaWanda Brown (Jeff) and Timothy Worsham (Tracy); her sisters, Diane Summey and Betty Rosenbaum; and her grandchildren, Braxton T. Brown, Timothy Brown and Mara Jade Worsham. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
