With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vicki Rae Williams of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Edgar Melvin, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Rodney "R. J." Pope, Jr.; her brothers, William "Billy Ed" Melvin, Jr. and Gary Douglas Melvin (Sabrina); and her grandchildren, Kylie Pope and Meaghen Pope.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Lupus Foundation.
