She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Reid Cook; and her brother Tony Reid Cook. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Starr Cook; her daughter Ashley Price Mauney (Andrew) of Hickory; her granddaughters, Kinzley Lauren Price and Kaisley Brynn Mauney; her stepgrandson Garret Cade Mauney; her nephew Christopher Reid Cook; her friend Reed Lawing; and her pets, Bernie and Peach.
Vickie's passion for planting has left her home overflowing with greenery and floral arrangements, therefore in lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made, in her memory, to Hartman's Haven Dog Rescue.
