It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victoria Ann Applegate of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Victoria Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Victoria Ann's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Eric and Vera Christina Engstrom; and her husband John Kenneth Applegate II. She is survived by: her children, Kurt Driscoll, Frank Driscoll, John Applegate III, Tracy Driscoll-Furguson, Laura Haygood, Deborah Brainard and Tammy Driscoll.
