Vinson Lee Smoak Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 3, 2023, at the age of 66, Vinson Lee Smoak (Hickory, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Smoak and Reba Fogel Smoak; his wife Merle Ann Merritt Smoak; and his daughter Reba Marie Smoak. He is survived by: his children, Angela Spencer (Randy Wingo) and James David Smoak; his grandchildren, Garrett Spencer, Tyler Spencer, Rachel Wingo, Nova Smoak, Kali Rae Smoak, Remy Rose Smoak and Josie Leatherman; his siblings, Ramona Wallace and Charlie Smoak; and his daughter-in-law Jamie Leatherman (Mike). He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members.
