She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Hines and Katherine Marie Norton Stout; her husband Worth Brown; her granddaughter Misty Brown; and her siblings, Margie White, Ben Hines, Lillian Pennell, Rick Stout and Steve Stout.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Greene (Donald), Tammy Bumgarner (David) and Angie McGinnis (Ray); her grandchildren, Corey Brown (Ariel), Lauren Reinhardt (Charlie), Zachary Bumgarner (Stephanie), Jordan McGinnis and Hannah Teague (Brian); her great grandchildren, Ava Bumgarner, Henry Reinhardt, John Bumgarner, Allie Bumgarner, Jones Teague, Mack Reinhardt and Selah Brown; her sister Kathy Icenhour (Clifford); and her close friend Jackie Tevepaugh (Howard). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church of Conover or Samaritan's Purse in Boone.
