He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Daniel Arndt and Lucy Belle Setzer Arndt of Maiden, NC.; and his siblings, George Daniel Arndt, Eunice Lucille Arndt Bumgarner and Nancy Lou Arndt Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Townsend Arndt; his children, Adeliah Helen Arndt and Michael Glenn Arndt (Alix); his grandchildren, Charlotte Arndt, James Arndt, Andrew Arndt, Daniel Arndt, Caroline Arndt, Abigail Arndt, Ayeshea Conner, Joshua Goebel, Amy Goebel and Shaya Bye; and his great grandchildren, Maverick Goebel, Colin Bye, Ivy Bye, Addison Sigmon and Haiden Goebel.
