He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hollar Sain; and his nieces and nephews, Evan Lail, Carrol Cooke, Eddie Sain, Steve Sain, Michael Sain, Robert Ward, Joey Ward, Jeff Ward, Ann Early, Catherine Pitts, Joyce Phillips, Patsy Thornton, Hazel Sain, Jeanette Sweat, Melody Pugh, Shellie Alfaro, Dawn Heller, Donnetta Spencer and Donna Shuford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to The Council on Aging or Carolina Caring.
