It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Stine Isenhower of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Abel and Susie Isenhower (Jordan); his wife Carolyn Vaughn Isenhower; his former wife Sarah Ann Bumgarner; and his siblings, Horace, Sam, John, James, Joseph, Celia I. Saunders, Susie I. Hambright and Annie Isenhower.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Isenhower (Carmen) and Ann I. Rothschild (Randy); his grandchildren, Charlotte I. Maglinger (Keith), Whitney Isenhower, Hannah Rothschild and Jordan Rothschild (Robert Middlekauff); his great grandchild Alice Carolyn Maglinger; and his sister-in-law Juanita T. Isenhower. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
