She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus White and Ina Coleman White; her son Christopher C. DeVier; and her siblings, Ina Lee Hendren, Eloise Sale, Fern Albert, Margaret White, Geraldine Wooten, Warren and Jack White.
She is survived by: her daughter Jewel Chandler (Larry) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Nicole Bailey (Liam) of Hickory and Chris Rogers (Katherine) of Hickory; her great grandchildren, Luke of Hickory, Rose Rogers of Hickory, Thomas of Hickory and Gracie Bailey of Hickory; and her daughter Leigh Farrell (Mike) of Baltimore, MD..
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Hickory (311 3rd Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601). Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
