William F. Milholland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William F. Milholland of Hickory, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 96. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Franklin Milholland and Mabel Pressley Stikeleather Milholland; and his wife Mary Anne Beaver Milholland. He is survived by: his sons, William F. Milholland, Jr. (Susan) of Wilmington, David C. Milholland (Suzy) of Mooresville, Paul B. Milholland (Juan Carlos) of New York, NY and John C. Milholland (Sarah T.) of Huntersville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (547 6th St NW, Hickory, NC 28601). Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
