He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Barton and Marion Barton. He is survived by: his wife Deidre Beach Petty; his children, Jason Petty (Dani), Jeremy Petty (Sherri) and Aaris Biddix (Mark); his grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Carson, Jordan, Steele and Navy; his brother Terry Petty (Brenda); his nephews, Keith Petty, Wesley Petty, John Andrews and David Andrews; and his niece Heather Andrews.
