She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Jimmy Reid and Rev. Carletta Goodwin Reid; and her sister Anita Billings. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Samuel Brown; her sons, Derek Brown (Erica Brown) of Fairford, AL and Ben Brown (Dakota Brown); her grandchildren, Jeremiah Brown, Judah Brown, Angelena Brown, Joe Brown, Ester Brown, Peyton Brown and Easton Brown; and her siblings, Jo McCranie (Marty McCranie) and Rick Reid (Robin Reid) of Taylorsville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
