We are sad to announce that, on November 13, 2025, at the age of 78, Barbara Jo Deason Byrd of Hiddenite, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer Deason and Joy Brunk Deason; her husband Gene Byrd; her former husband Jerry Cash; her grandchildren, April Cheers (Tony), Ashlen Klutz (Jonah), Abagail Moretz (Coulter), EJ Davie, Elliotte Davie and Vee Johnson; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Ryder and Draco; and her pets, Sugar and Chico.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Camp Meeting fund at Calvary Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC.
