He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Benfield and Alma Teague Benfield; and his brother Max Benfield. He is survived by: his wife Doris Burch Benfield; his sons, Michael Benfield (Jennie) and Jerrod Benfield; his grandchildren, Jamison Benfield, Esther Benfield, Eleck Benfield, Kendall Benfield, Micah Martin and Hunter Martin; his great grandchild Ellora Teague; and his sister Judy Little (Harry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
