Edith Mae Mickles LeVan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Mae Mickles LeVan of Hiddenite, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonson Harding Mickles and Mary Lucille Smith Mickles; her husband Buddy; her siblings, Shirley Freeland Winebarger and Billy Dale Mickles; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Mickles, David Hutchins and Bryant Freeland.
She is survived by: her son J. Lane LeVan (Angela); her grandsons, Christian LeVan, Caleb LeVan and Canaan LeVan (Alyssa); her siblings, Bobby Mickles (Wanda), Denny Mickles, Bonnie Hutchins, Linda Gail Lafferty (David) and Ruth Stewart (David); and her siblings-in-law, Roger Winebarger and Debbie Mickles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (848 Pisgah Church Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
