With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Linney of Hiddenite, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Dewey Linney and Addie Thompson Linney; and his brothers, Morris Linney and Chauncey A. Linney. He is survived by: his sister Rosantha Linney Moore of Charlotte; his nephews, Bobby W. Moore (Desiree) of Fountain, CO and Lazonte S. Moore of Charlotte, NC; his great-niece Kalia O. Moore; and his cousin Tommy Linney.
